PTCL has taken strong exception and distances itself from such developments.. According to a Press Release, This is just a scam to swindle innocent people and anybody who gets such a call should not make any cash or otherwise payment in exchange of a promise of winning a prize.

PTCL, therefore intimates its existing and potential customers NOT to entertain, trust or fall for such fake activities carried out by certain elements. All the existing and potential customers are STRICTLY advised to utilize authorized PTCL franchises, customer care centers, website and PTCL designated toll free numbers for information and subscription of PTCL products, services and offers.

In case of the current ongoing lucky draw scheme the winners will be announced through the media and disbursement of the prizes will be intimated accordingly. PTCL shall not be liable for any loss to any person in consequence of such fraudulent activities and deceptive marketing practices by the third parties.
