Blog: PTA directed all CMOs to ensure provision of Voice/SMS blocking facility

In order to control the menace of unsolicited and obnoxious communications, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority directed all CMOs to ensure provision of Subscriber Level Voice/SMS blocking facility to the cellular mobile subscribers.

So that respective subscribers are able to have individual control over the blocking of unwanted voice calls as well as SMS through a short code.

The subject facility is also available vide a monthly subscription of blocking facility.
