Research in Motion (RIM), Canadian manufacturer of Blackberry mobile sets has introduced its latest smartphone the BlackBerry Bold 9780 this Wednesday.“The new model builds on the highly refined experience that BlackBerry Bold users already know and love and delivers a wide range of enhancements including a rich news user interface, a fast and powerful WebKit-based browser, broadly improved communications and multimedia capabilities, an incredibly useful Universal Search feature and a high-quality 5 megapixel camera,” said Carlo Chiarello, Vice President – Product Management at RIM.
Specifications & Features: This latest mobile phone, BlackBerry Bold 9780 includes the BlackBerry 6 operating system. It is a 3G mobile phone featuring a 2.4-inch, 400-by-360 display, and a 5-megapixel camera with image stabilization, continuous auto focus, flash, and 2x digital zoom. The BlackBerry Bold 9780 has a 624-MHz processor, is Bluetooth-enabled, and has built-in GPS and Wi-Fi. The BlackBerry Bold 9780 has increased memory capacity; the included 512MB Flash memory can be expanded up to 32GB.
Social Networking & Mobile Applications: RIM said there are integrated feeds to social-networking sites including , Twitter, and MySpace, as well as BlackBerry Messenger on the latest mobile platform BlackBerry 6. A separate YouTube mobile application and redesigned music and picture mobile applications are also included in this BlackBerry latest mobile phone.
