Telenor Pakistan has developed its own VSAT network to remain least affected by natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods.
This is the VSAT network is going to be the largest in Pakistan and is meant to provide Telenor’s customers with uninterrupted and high quality services and connectivity for GSM traffic in areas where microwave or optical fiber is unavailable. Khalid Shehzad, Chief Technology Officer, Telenor Pakistan along with Atiq Ahmed, Deputy CTO, Telenor Pakistan inaugurated the hub site. Others who attended the ceremony included Imran Malik, CEO Supernet; Hamid Nawaz, Vice-President Supernet; and Shams-ul-Arfeen, CEO Telecard.
