Opera has launched its latest mobile browser Opera Mini 5.1 beta for Symbian operating system based mobile phone sets.

Christen Krogh, Chief Development Officer, Opera Software, expresses: “It is Opera’s objective to provide its users with the best possible web-surfing experience on any device. Porting Opera Mini to the Symbian operating system provides the largest user base in the smartphone world with the best mobile browsing experience.”


Features: This latest mobile browser will support more than 3000 Symbian mobile devices, as compared to the previous version of the mobile browser which supported only English language and old Symbian mobile devices. Another new feature on Opera Mini 5.1 is the option to set a default access point once and for all. It is has significantly faster start-up time, its page-load and scrolling performance has been improved, there is a full support for device text input methods, improved fonts, device integration for copy & paste, email client and a lot more. There is also an option to choose default access point with no more annoying dialogs.
