First Convocation of Virtual University of Pakistan Virtual University of Pakistan is holding its First Convocation on Tuesday 18th May, 2010 simultaneously at Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Jamshoro, Karachi and Quetta. This exciting event will be the first of its kind in Pakistan where graduating students from all over the country will participate, in true VU tradition, through the innovative use of information and communication technology. The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan / Chancellor Virtual University of Pakistan will preside over the Convocation directly from the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad. Graduating students who wish to participate in the ceremony must register themselves latest by Sunday 9th May, 2010. Please note the following: 1. Graduates who have not yet registered for the Convocation, please click here to register. 2. Graduates who registered for the Convocation before April 2010, must re-confirm their participation by clicking here. 3. Graduates who registered for the Convocation during April 2010, or later, need not re-confirm. 4. Participating graduates may be accompanied by one parent/guardian as specified by them during registration/re-confirmation. 5. Invitation Cards will only be issued to students who register/re-confirm their participation as given above. 6. Entry will not be allowed without invitation cards issued by the University.
