Android OS 3.0 Honeycomb is only for tablet devices and is different from the Gingerbread version that was released last year for mobile phone devices.
User Interface: The User Interface of this latest mobile operating system’s version has multiple home-screens and application shortcut icons and widgets. The widgets seem to be redesigned, making better use of the larger screen.
Applications: There’s also a Google eBooks app with the same page-flipping animations seen on the iPad. It also has Gmail App which opens in two panes and Google Talk Video chat compatibility. Google Talk’s video plugin works in any browser, thus with all popular Operating Systems such as, Windows, Linux and Mac etc. Google Maps 5.0 with 3D panning mode and other cool features are also the part of this latest version of Android OS.
