Assignment
Question 1: (2.5+2.5 Marks)
a) Suppose a periodic signal is decomposed into 6 different sine waves with frequencies of 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000 and 1200Hz. You are required to find the bandwidth.
b) A signal has a bandwidth of 60 Hz; the lowest frequency is 40Hz.What is the highest frequency?
Question 2: (5 Marks)
Find out the IP and Physical address of your personal computer using command prompt. You are required to provide snapshot (by using print screen) of this information.
Question 3: (5 Marks)
Match the following layers with its functionality in the following table:
Network layer Physical Addressing
Data link layer Routing
Physical layer Port Addressing
Transport layer Chatting Messenger
Application layer Binary conversion
