Blog: Mobilink Brings “Fantasy Cricket League” for worldcup 2011

As the biggest Cricket event of the year is about to happen, Mobilink brings an exciting and fun filled service “Fantasy Cricket League” which will be a competition based IVR fun service allowing users to create their ‘dream teams’ by selecting any of the players from the database of 367 players and then manage them accordingly before or during a LIVE Cricket match.

This service is designed conceptually to run in parallel with a LIVE cricket match and uses a point-based system. The points will be awarded based on the performance of the selected players in the live cricket match. At the end of the World Cup tournament, the user with highest score will be declared as a winner.

Tournament Prizes
At the end of the world cup Tournament, Users of the Top 3 teams on Fantasy Cricket League will win the following cash prizes:

- Fantasy League Winner will get cash prize of Rs. 15,000
- 1st Runner Up will win cash prize of Rs. 10,000
- 2nd Runner Up will win cash prize of Rs. 5,000
