Nokia has announced this week at Nokia World that its latest mobile operating system Symbian^3 will appear on a number of smartphones expected to come to market this year.
But what is going to be the future of this operating system in the presence of iOS with it updates having new features and the famous android O.S? The Motorola Droid, for instance is shipped with Android 2.0. It was upgraded to Android 2.1 and recently to Android 2.2. Each upgrade offered end users more features and extended the useful life of the handset. But it seems like there is no such offering made by Nokia.
