The Economic Times-Brand Equity’s annual ‘Most Trusted Brands’ survey for 2010 has revealed its findings for India this year and this time again, NOkia has won the hearts and minds of its customers as it is awarded the most trusted brand for the Indians.It is worth mentioning that Nokia has been appearing in the survey since 2005, and has held the first position in 2008, 2009 and now, 2010.
The implied meanings of this development could be more than one for the Indian market and speaks volume of impact mobile telephony on an average India has been among the fastest growing telecom markets in the world with an estimated current mobile With subscriber base in excess of 670 million Indian is the world’s fastest expanding market.

The award marks the celebration of 15 years of mobility and Nokia in India. The first mobile phone call was made on a Nokia phone using Nokia network on July 31, 1995.
Brand Equity’s ‘Most Trusted Brands’ survey judges 300 brands from consumer products and services. Consumers across 13 Indian cities evaluate the brand on seven key attributes.
