Blog: Telenor and Nokia Join Hands: Pakistani Apps at OVI Store

Telenor Pakistan has joined hands with Nokia’s OVI Store to bring more variety to local mobile applications and mobile content to Pakistani mobile users.

As of now two applications are online from Telenor Pakistan at Ovi store;

1. Urdu Jokes


2. Relief Copter.

Mobile applications published by Telenor Pakistan which includes mobile games and comedy content like ‘Urdu Jokes’ and ‘Relief Copter’ which are free to download and are developed by WeRPlay and Anahata Solution are hosted on Nokia’s Ovi Store.

A Step to Attract Mobile Users: Nokia’s Ovi Store is expanding its offerings particularly locally developed mobile applications so that Nokia mobile consumers in Pakistan can enjoy mobile applications that match their preferences and lifestyle. This Nokia-Telenor collaboration is not only an encouraging step for the development of local apps but it will also help promote the data usage in Pakistan.

Telenor Becomes OVI Store Partner: Talking about Telenor Pakistan’s latest mobile content on Ovi Store, Nauman Durrani, Operator Relation Manager, Nokia Near East commented,

“We are really excited to be promoting Telenor Pakistan’s apps via our Ovi Store. These apps will be available to both local and international Nokia users.
